Listening to Anne Allen's flute and piano cd ‘Romantic Flute’ has been a delight. The music performed is varied and tasteful, all chosen with the gentle melodic style suitable for the title. Some are well known tracks, but a few were new to me. The quality of the performance is outstanding, which allows you to relax and enjoy every moment. Also I am pleased to report that the quality of recording itself is exemplary - not so much of a surprise when I read that this cd was recorded at London's Air Studio, of the late Beatles producer George Martin fame.
Each track is played with such sensitivity. Whether you are listening in the car, relaxing in an arm chair, cooking in the kitchen, or wanting to hear a professional make the flute sing, you will not be disappointed with this cd; I highly recommend it.
