Today's News! After the success of last year's concert, I have been invited back to play a flute and guitar recital in St John's, Arlesford. It is a beautiful place to visit so I would encourage you to come if you can. You have lots of notice - the date is Saturday 17th January 2009! Sarah Freestone will be playing guitar so if you haven't heard her yet, and aren't able to come to any of our concerts in the autumn, this is another great opportunity. I will also be speaking the following day at St John's in a prayer/healing service which you are all very welcome to. It will be very informal, more like a discussion really so do bring lots of difficult questions to try and put me on the spot! Do send me an email via the contacts page if you would like any more information at this stage, and St John's website and ticket booking number will be on the forthcoming events page soon. I look forward to seeing you there. |

Thank you to everyone that played in the Fun Family concert at St Philips. It was a great sucess and you were all real stars. I am still getting texts and emails from members of the audience to say how much they enjoyed it and can we please do another one soon! The colouring competition produced some fantastic pictures and we are going to put up a display in the church of every single one. If anyone has any photos they wouldn't mind including, it would be a great opportunity to show other families that they might like to come along and classical music doesn't have to be boring! A great big thank you especially goes to Stella who worked so hard with the refreshments. |

Summer is (supposedly) here and 'tis the season of outdoor concerts, fizz and fireworks! I am playing in various wonderful venues with the English National Orchestra this year. It is always great fun- thousands of people having their picnics and singing along at the end with the 'Last Night of the Proms' music so do come along if you can. Remember your Union Jacks! The venues this year are: 1st August Dorfold Park 9th August Calke Abbey 16th August Castle Howard 24th August Lincoln Castle 30th August Harewood House |
